Transit Route Improvements

Transportation agencies can evaluate and readjust existing transit routes to ensure that riders are being well served and routes are working efficiently. One opportunity to increase commuter riding would be to provide additional regular or express service from areas of high population to worksites. Improving transit access to commercial areas also can help to reduce traffic in those areas and improve access for those who cannot or choose not to drive.
