Both the quality and energy
efficiency of manufactured houses have improved dramatically in
recent years. To encourage quality affordable housing options, and
to improve the appearance of a community, municipalities can establish
programs that provide assistance and funding to low-income mobile
home owners to replace older mobile homes with new energy efficient
modular units.
