The
New York State Civil Service Commission schedules examinations on a statewide
basis and it is very rare for one to be cancelled for any reason. In case
of weather or other emergency, the Tompkins County Personnel Department
will place a cancellation announcement on the following radio stations
the morning of the examination:

870 AM
WYXL LITE 97 FM
WICB
91.7 FM
WTKO
1470 AM
WQNY
103.7 FM
WVBR
93.5 FM
In
the event a cancellation does occur, the Tompkins County Personnel will
reschedule the examination and send you another admission letter with the
time, date, and location of the examination.
