CALL TO ORDER

The meeting opened at 4:32 p.m. Ms. Blanchard mentioned that both the proposed resolutions are in respect of consultant contracts which will enable the relevant projects to move forward. 

DRAFT RESOLUTION AA

Ms. Blanchard said that the resolution is for authorization for a contract with United Radio Services of Syracuse for an amount not to exceed $15,000 for the design phase of the Paging Project. The exact scope of the work is not known at this point as NYSTEC may have done part of the work. This is being determined.

It was MOVED by Mr. Totman, seconded by Mr. Penniman, and unanimously adopted by voice vote by members present, that the COMCAP Committee recommends to the Board of Representatives to adopt the resolution for AWARD OF CONTRACT – PUBLIC SAFETY COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM, PROPOSED PAGING CAPITAL PROJECT.

A copy of the subsequently adopted Resolution Number 275 is attached.

DRAFT RESOLUTION BB

Ms. Blanchard said that the resolution is for authorization for extension of existing contracts with NYSTEC for an amount not to exceed $20,000 for inclusion of work outside their original scope of services such as reviews of 911 building plans and frequencies for paging. 

It was MOVED by Mr. Totman, seconded by Mr. Lalley, and unanimously adopted by voice vote by members present, that the COMCAP Committee recommends to the Board of Representatives to adopt the resolution for AWARD OF CONTRACT – PUBLIC SAFETY COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM CAPITAL PROJECT.

A copy of the subsequently adopted Resolution Number 276 is attached.
