The Tompkins County Board of Representatives appoints members to over 43 ongoing advisory boards.  Members of these boards serve on a voluntary basis and represent various constituencies from throughout Tompkins County.  Members of these boards and committees serve in an advisory capacity to the Board of Representatives.  Any Tompkins County resident is encouraged to browse our list of boards and submit their name to be considered for appointment.  It is Tompkins County's goal to have a full roster of diverse individuals working towards the betterment of the entire County.
