Function:  This Committee advises the appropriate Committee of the Tompkins County Legislature during the planning, design, operation, maintenance, closure, and post closure of the landfill and shall include comment on aspects related the planning, design, operation, and maintenance of the landfill site, monitoring of the site during use and after closure, the approach roads, compensation to landowners, and municipalities impacted.
