FTA Section 1511 Certification Letter: Transit Capital Assistance

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) was signed into law in February 2009. The legislation commonly referred to as the Stimulus Bill includes over $27 billion in funding for transportation. Some of that funding will reach Tompkins County through New York State. Stimulus funding will also affect other government service areas such as housing, energy, water and wastewater management, etc. The ITCTC coordinated the planning effort to identify candidate transportation projects for stimulus funding in Tompkins County.
