St. George’s Greek Orthodox Church
In the early 1920’s the International Salt Company built St. George’s Greek Orthodox Church for its Syrian workers. The company enlarged the church in the 1940s. Today, services are held once a year on St. George’s Day when a priest from the Ithaca Greek Orthodox Church officiates.
