Religious Structures of Enfield

Presbyterian Church
The Presbyterian Church of Enfield, located at 201 Enfield Main Road was organized at Bostwick Corners on February 14, 1832 by Reverend William Page. The permanent church was built in 1835-36 at Enfield Center, on the lot in front of the “Presbyterian Cemetery”. In 1878, after the church closed, it was purchased by John G. Wortman to use as a store In 1944 Carl and Fran Newhart purchased the store and in 1997 the Newhart family sold the building; it is now a private residence.
