Religious Structures of Dryden

Trinity Episcopal Church
11 Library Street, Dryden
Trinity EpiscopalTrinity Episcopal Church
In 1904 land was purchased for $260 by the Protestant Episcopal Church of CNY and this chapel was built. By the 1930s, the congregation had dwindled until it closed and the trustees sold it to private persons. It then stood several years as an unoccupied church. In 1937, it and a nearby house were sold to H Strong who ran a funeral business and used this building as a chapel for services. Strong ended his business in 1968. Perkins Funeral Home bought the business and property then sold the home and chapel to George Junior Republic Association. It is used as guest facilities for GJR of Freeville.
