Religious Structures of Dryden

Reach Our For Christ Church
318 Johnson Road, Freeville
Reach Out for Christ
A non denominational Pentecostal church, it started in Dryden in 1992 with just a few persons who met regularly in private homes. Soon the group formally organized as Reach Out For Christ Church, a free church. Services for the growing group were held at the Dryden Village Hall, then at the Woods-Dryden Funeral Home. After a successful fund drive, a 55 acre parcel of open land was purchased on Johnson Road, Freeville. In 1995, the congregation temporarily moved to Christ Chapel at George Junior Republic on the Dryden-Freeville Road while they completed their building fund. Some of the extra land was sold for more funds, and in 2000, construction started for a 9000 square foot space.
