Religious Structures of Dryden
Dryden Assembly of God
87 West Main Street, Dryden

In 1975 a small group of this faith first starting meeting. Eight years later, a pastor was hired and the first official service was held at the Holy Cross Parish Center on Union Street, Dryden and their first pastor was hired. Next found them on Main Street beside the bank for a year, then at the old Baptist Chapel on North Street. Finally, in 1987 they purchased 87 West Main Street. The building at this old Mill site was a Quonset constructed by Robert Baker just after WW2, as an office for the growing Baker Lumber Company. Later, several commercial businesses rented the space. When the Church acquired the land, they added additions to the early Quonset.
