Religious Structures of Caroline

The Methodist – Episcopal Church in Slaterville Springs was built in 1834 at a cost of $1000.00. In 1890 the church had 124 parishioners, with 98 registered in 1910. By the time the church building burned in 1957 it had been used as a youth activity hall and community center. It’s bell now resides in St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Slaterville Springs.
