Religious Structures of Caroline

On Level Green Rd. in Caroline proper the Methodist Church was built in 1894 thanks to land donated by Lyman A. and Sally N. Patch and lumber, money and labor supplied, $50.00 at a time, by parishioners. The interior woodwork was done by local carpenter Jimmy Tryon. In 1999 it was turned into a private home. In the beginning the church had an active membership, including a Ladies Aid Society that made quilts to benefit the church and held chicken pie dinners and ice cream socials.
