Religious Structures of Caroline

The Caroline Center church, currently famous for it’s first Friday fish fries, original building was erected in 1823 or 1825 (there are conflicting reports). The current church was built, to several pages of explicit directions, in 1866. Currently 65-70 people attend on Sunday. This church’s cemetery also holds the remains of soldiers from the Revolutionary War, the War of 1812 and the Civil War. There is a lot of history in Caroline.
