EISEP (Expanded
In-home Services for the Elderly Program) is a non-medical home care program for low to
moderate income Tompkins County residents over the age of 60 who are not eligible for
medicaid. Home care is free to those applicants at the low end of the income scale and on
a sliding fee scale for all others.
Provides case management, personal care,
housekeeping, meal prep, laundry and shopping services.
Private Hire - assistance given on how to hire a private aide for those in need
of home care who do not qualify for subsidized care or who want the flexibility a private
home health aide can offer. How to hire an in home helper.
