Ithaca Man Receives Twenty Years for Child Abuse
District Attorney Gwen Wilkinson announced today that Joseph D. Lilly, 34, formerly of Enfield, was sentenced to twenty years in state prison for the crimes of First Degree Rape and First Degree Course of Sexual Conduct Against a Child.
On November 23, 2010, Lilly admitted that he engaged in unlawful sexual conduct with a child on multiple occasions.
In addition to the prison term, the defendant will serve twenty years of post-release supervision, and be placed on the sex offender registry.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Linda Gafford. The defendant was represented by William P. Sellers IV, Esq. Judge John C. Rowley presided.
The Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office conducted the investigation.
