News Details - Absentee and Sample Ballots Available for Village Elections
The Villages of Cayuga Heights, Dryden and Groton will hold elections on Tuesday, March 19. Only registered voters living within these village’s boundaries are eligible to vote. Sample ballots can be viewed online at www.votetompkins.com.
Absentee ballots for these elections are available from the Tompkins County Board of Elections. Applications for absentee ballots may be obtained from the Board office or downloaded from the website.
The last day for a new voter to register and be eligible for these elections is March 8. The last day for the Board of Elections to receive an application for an absentee ballot to be mailed to the voter is March 12, and the last day to apply in person is March 18. Polls will be open March 19 from noon until 9 p.m.
No offices are up this year in the Village of Trumansburg. The Village of Lansing will hold their election on April 23.
