News Details - Absentee and Sample Ballots Available for June 26 Primary

Voters enrolled in the Democratic and Republican parties will have a Primary for Federal offices on Tuesday, June 26.

Democrats will be choosing a candidate for Representative in Congress for the 23rd district. (All of Tompkins County is now in the 23rd.) Republicans will be choosing a candidate for United States Senator. Sample ballots can be viewed online at www.votetompkins.com.

Absentee ballots for these elections are now available from the Tompkins County Board of Elections. Applications for absentee ballots may be obtained from the Board office or downloaded from the website.

The last day for a new voter to register and be eligible for these elections is June 1. The last day to postmark an application for an absentee ballot is June 19, and the last day to apply in person is June 25.

Polls will be open June 26 from noon until 9 p.m.

The Board of Elections is located at 128 E. Buffalo Street, Ithaca, NY, and open M-F 8:30 – 4:30.
