News Details - Broadband Forum in Newfield May 9
The County Legislature’s Special Committee on Broadband will hold its sixth Community Engagement Forum regarding community needs and opportunities related to high-speed internet service on Wednesday, May 9 in Newfield.
Over the past three months, the committee has sponsored similar forums around the county, asking residents to assist in its effort to determine how broadband Internet access can be achieved for all county residents.
The latest forum will take place at the Newfield Town Hall, 166 Main Street, beginning at 7:00 p.m. While the session is focused on the Towns of Newfield and Enfield, residents from throughout the county are invited and encouraged to attend. Residents will have the opportunity to learn more about the work of the Broadband Committee, talk about their specific broadband Internet access needs, and share their ideas on how expanded high-speed Internet access can benefit the community.
