I. Grants may be available annually, with appropriate annual review, for a maximum of three years.
II. The applicant may apply for three years of support, supplying a three-year business plan for the initiative. Requests for each subsequent year will be reviewed based on previous year’s record and reporting. While awards can be made annually for three years, there is not a guarantee of multi-year support. The STPB may choose to suspend this category of support at any time based on financial exigencies. A significant weight will be given to the strong likelihood that the proposed initiative will stimulate tourism growth. A baseline for such growth shall be established at the outset of the grant and measured each year.
III. Grants shall not exceed 25% of the cash expenses in each year to a maximum of $25,000, with a minimum award to be determined.
IV. This program is designed for organizations that have had their not-for-profit status three years or less.
