Retirement Planning for Long-Term Care Expenses Upcoming Presentations

  • Wednesday, April 30: 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM at Lifelong, 119 W. Court Street, Ithaca
  • Thursday, May 22: 7:00 PM – 8:15 PM at the Lansing Public Library
  • Wednesday, May 28: 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM (includes free continental breakfast starting at 7:45 AM) at Lifelong

THE OBJECTIVE: to provide tools to help build your long-term care planning strategy, an important task for those age 45-65. No sales pitches— just free, objective information provided by
the Office for the Aging and Lifelong. (New York State, Lifelong and the Tompkins County Office for the Aging do not endorse or recommend any specific insurance product or insurer;
this program is solely intended to educate consumers about their choices.)


What's right for you?

Making the decision to buy long-term care insurance or pay privately cannot be done without a lot of deliberation. The Long Term Care Insurance Resource Centers can help you decide the planning and financing of long-term care.

  • Individuals: Our educational materials, periodic workshops, and one-to-one counseling sessions specifically help you made educated decisions based upon your unique circumstances. Get help developing a list of personalized questions you'll want to ask when considering if long-term care insurance is right for you.

 

  • Employers: Invite us to meet with your employees during staff meetings or scheduled presentations where they will learn about policy options and how to obtain the coverage needed and the appropriate benefits.

 

  • Community and Professional Organizations: Ask us to speak at your meetings. We'll design a presentation that meets your members' needs.

 

  • Everyone: Visit the resource centers and receive the tools necessary to choose appropriate coverage and compare policies.
