2010 Preliminay Assessment Review Application Input Page

You may choose to fill out the form below in order to have your property's 2010 Preliminary Assessment reviewed by one of the members of the professional appraisal staff of the Tompkins County Department of Assessment. We will accept hearing applications until Friday April 9, 2010. All applications received after this date will unfortunately not be reviewed before the 2010 Tentative Assessment Roll which will be filed on May 1, 2010. In order to contest the fair market value of a property after that date, a formal grievance application must be filed with the Tompkins County Board of Assessment Review before May 25, 2010.

Please attach any other relevant information regarding your property's CURRENT FAIR MARKET VALUE and email it to assessment@tompkins-co.org to assist the Department of Assessment in reviewing your 2010 Preliminary Assessment.
All information provided to the Department of Assessment will be reviewed by one of the members of the Professional Appraisal staff. On or around May 1, 2010 you will receive a 2010 Notice of Assessment Change notifying you of the results of the review. If you disagree with the Tentative Assessed Value as determined on that notice, you must file a formal grievance with the Tompkins County Board of Assessment Review at any point from May 1 - May 25, 2010.
